#1 The Paperwork Is the Miracle

Four panels in a teal office with a night window. Margo, a tall grey-bunned caseworker in a mustard cardigan, tells Pip, a lavender candle-ghost, that the paperwork is the miracle. Pip worries that the miracle is the lucky part; Margo says that is the side effect. Pip stamps a form at a desk, flame tall. Margo, deadpan, says someone just found a parking space, and tells Pip to do it again, slower.

Day one. Nobody has said 'welcome' yet; Margo's version is the second rule.
